WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND!
although, I didn't get to spend time with my Mother, I did have a very long and nice conversation with her on the phone. The plan is to take the ferry to BFE (Bum Fuck Egypt aka bremerton (no caps, not worthy)) and visit her and the family. Should be good fun as always. I did spend some quality time with the Tobiassen family though, which is always a hootenanny.
Friday at six pm, I closed up CarTender and Nat and I did some work to the E30. Not anything special but some badly needed routine maintenance. We did an oil change, got rid of the cruddy ford motorcraft oil filter (i know.. i know) replaced it with a Mahle substitute and it got a heaping four and a half quarts of Mobil One 5W-30. I also addressed a leaky rear diff. I replaced both the fill and drain plugs and refilled the differential with Redline Gear Oil. Great stuff. The trans seems to shift alot smoother in the morning and for some reason the piece of mind is really good to have. Oh and before I forget, the oil leak was a fairly simple fix the oil pressure sender had a leak so we replaced it. Ten dollars later and we were leak free and all that good shit. After some hard work we got down on the grill and cooked up some really really good steak shishkabobs but sorry, no pictures. Too busy chowin down. Kyle and Tocari? (Tomari?) came over and had some of the good shit and we watched a movie. Can't remember which one off the top of my head.
Saturday I woke up to the sound of Taryns' alarm like five times. Fuckin thing. I hate the snooze button. Anyway, she went to work from 7am-12pm and I just hung around. Didn't really do much. I think I picked up dog shit in the backyard which is always great fun. Nat did alot of house work/yard work, that guy does work. I'm not lyin. Taryn got off work and we went to see that new Xmen movie. Super dope by the way. I usually tend to hate on all the Superhero genre type movies now cause the acting has gotten so shitty. I understand it's supposed to be a comic book world and what not but why the fuck are people flying around and what not. Too unbelievable. I must say Wolverine's life sucked. I can see why he's such a dick.
Sunday - MOTHERS DAY
We went to Tacoma to meet up with Taryns' Dad's side of the family. I love seeing them, they make me feel so welcome and I feel right at home with her family which is a really good thing. I took some pictures so i'll let them do the talking, i've written too much and I have to head to work.
